Stunning presentation, as expected from Statera. Beautiful pixel art and music all around. It plays like Red Ronin, another game by Wired Dreams, and Keen: One Girl Army, all three made in Brazil. Unlike Keen, however, it's impossible not to take damage, which was a bit confusing for me at first, until I got used to the idea that the stages aren't puzzles with perfect solutions. And later I found out that, like in Red Ronin, there are also real-time elements amidst the turn-based formula, some interesting and some not so much. I usually like challenges, but some of the bosses felt quite unfair and random, while others were really fun. If the devs manage to iron out the balance and fix the remaining bugs, Arashi Gaiden could be a pretty special entry in the Bravery Universe. It's definitely worth playing.4 found this helpful
Competition for indie games is severe. There are so many great games that I just don't have time to play anything mediocre and doesn't hook me. I thought I might return this to get some more money in my wallet for a better game, but as I kept playing I realized I couldn't do that, this is a great game. I realized that after I discovered that it feels exactly like a combo of two of my recent favorite indies; Cramped Room Of Death and Shogun Showdown. This is more first impressions because I haven't played much yet, but I look forward to continuing now after giving it a chance. If that description sounds fun to you, I can definitely recommend picking it up, and if you haven't played either of those games then you really should, both are great. *Edit: After upgrading my SSD I realized that this game doesn't have cloud saving and I had to start from the beginning which really sucks. I was a little disappointed that it glitched at the end of my play session. I was supposed to talk to the kitten to exit, but it happened twice, and I couldn't continue. Muito bom e desafiador! As músicas são bem marcantes e os personagens são muito carismáticos (uma pena precisar fatiá-los T-T). Dá para ver o quanto os criadores se divertiram fazendo e o quanto se empenharam para apresentar mecânicas novas a todo momento. É um jogo bem diferente do que é visto atualmente e tem um preço bem acessível!
Easy to understand and pick up immediately. Got a solid art style, animation, and soundtrack. Satisfying to not only complete levels but motivating to get all three stars (: Love it! Well done.
