Arcane Vale

An otherwise good game ruined by poor inventory management and the softlocks involved with dropping entire inventory on death including armor. Could be fixed in a second by adding an option to keep inventory on death.

I wanted to like this game, but it just felt so boring. There was a lot of work put into this game, but it still felt soulless, and just like every other game that shares the same genres as this one.

Sort of on the fence about this one, I like it but the controls are a bit annoying. Inventory as has been said, sucks.

I have to admit, I bought this game despite never having heard of it (for whatever reason), and because I thought the pixel graphics were really charming. I didn’t expect to like it so much. It was actually REALLY fun. And I’m not just saying that—I don’t always leave reviews, unless I have spent a pretty good portion of time with a game I truly did enjoy. This one, like anything else, is not without its flaws, but overall was just a fun, charming little (I say little, but the game is probably 15-20+ hours if you do most or all of the side quests. My only complaint really lies with the inventory system…there is just SO much “stuff” you may or may not need, and although there IS a way to store extraneous items, to me it was a little distracting and took too much time out of the actual gameplay. Anyway—I won’t go on & on, but try this game if you’re a fan of RPGs at all—it’s not too pricey and both the quests and combat (simple as it is) are a lot of fun. I only got stuck once, and even though the game has been released for quite some time, the Dev was still very quick to respond to my request for help.

Definitely a hidden gem and worth the buy. Lots to do and discover. Shame not much people have seen this.

lose all your items on death, no way to know where is your body, I will need more patience to play that kind of game! But for the price I liked a lot what I saw, it's cute and there is a lot to do, it just need some polishing
