Most of writing is in Korean so I have no clue what to do, their is no char creation so you just play what ever they give you. I do know that combat is turn based and this appears to be a mobile game. Sorry cannot recommend at this time or in this language.

"Arkadia" is, I think, a student project from Sangmyung University in Seoul, South Korea. At least I hope it is. As always we must give the benefit of the doubt. While this looks like a complex "me too" World of Warcraft/Diablo ripoff, it's more shallow and limited, with a share of bugs and very little to offer as a serious game, and focuses more on turn based tactical combat than action gameplay. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industr…

4.5/10 Prototype of a TBS/RPG TLDR: A student project/demo that has the common features of the RPG but isn't near a playable state because of bad controls and much else Good: + free So-so: +/- for some text (e.g. quest names) English localization is missing. Also Korean is selected by default (make sure to switch to English in options). Normally, games auto-detect the OS language btw +/- UI is there but it's poorly designed, with much space wasted on trivial stuff like e.g. total weight of inventory while a lot of info is cramped together in tooltips. Also, English text sticks out of labels as probably they designed the UI for Asian hieroglyphs first Bad: - can't invert camera Y moves. This was actually the main point of pain for me - while it's a turn-based strategy, there aren't any tiles. Characters seem to be allowed to move without spending an action point for short distances. For longer distances, AP cost depends on the length of the path. This is a poor design choice as, with these "analog" distances, e.g. you can't predict if your character will get close enough to the target to be able to attack it - no undo - no states for the cursor. This make giving orders confusing…

This game is bad...... really bad. None of the Maps, Quests, or Pop ups are in English. The movement of the characters and the battle mechanics are extremely confusing and clunky. Hopefully the devs will improve on this before launch.
