Armada

Fun little game to enjoy with friends. Not much content, and there is currently no server browser, but I believe it is in the works, along with plenty of other features and fixes. For .99 cents, no reason not to buy and play with a group of pals, if for nothing else other than the amazing sound design, created through the use of a single man's throat and mouth. The destruction is a cool mechanic not many other games seem to replicate, and while barebones (i.e, shot placement doesn't matter, hitting an underwater plank won't sink a ship quicker than a sail), is great feedback for knowing if you hit an opposing ship or not.

Really fun game to play with your friends. I'm astonished that the audio was created by someone's mouth. The trailer is exactly what the game is. It's a nice little indie game to play with your friends and mess around on. The game could use a server list so you can join public servers or a discord where we can find other players.

This game is really, really far from being in a state where it should be released with a buy-to-play price. Insufficient amount of content to determine what the actual point of the game is other than you can shoot other ships. I do appreciate that you can shoot parts of other ships and sink them. Using one's own voice for sound effects is actually fairly unique and if this included a lot of players, I'm uncertain whether it would add a bit of charm to the game or become incredibly annoying. I'll revisit in 6 months but at this time, there is not enough of a game here to warrant a purchase.

If you enjoy small indie games to play with your friends, Armada is an exceedingly great choice for such an experience. The game is exactly as it seems, a simple navel combat game. You have a ship, two cannons, a gun, and a sword. There's no directed objectives, but the game doesn't have much else than the ships. It is mutiplayer, so just jump in a server and have some fun. A unique feature of this game is the audio design, which seems to be (and is, according to the developer.) someone's mouth making all of the noises. All in all, this game's price tag is defiantly worth it if you find yourself with some spare time and you find yourself in a discord call. I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as I do, and I hope to see you in public lobbies!
