- Randomized World Maps with Different Sizes: Every campaign unfolds across a procedurally generated world filled with unpredictable opportunities and threats.
- Deep Province Management: Control resources like Gold, Food, Gifts, Cavalry, Archers, Infantry. Train troops, reward generals, search for hidden talent, mine for hidden resources, and expand your war machine with extra help from, a savvy traveling merchant.
- Assassination system: Eliminate enemy warlords using gold and gifts (high-risk, high-reward)
- Spy network: Send spies to enemy provinces to gather intelligence on troops, resources, and defenses
- Warlord system: Lead as a warlord with unique abilities; manage multiple generals with distinct skills
- Set Auto Governors: Automate province management with strategic auto assignments that build economy, recruits generals, and manages resources

- Battlefield healing system: Use medical supplies to heal wounded soldiers mid-battle
- Special battlefield abilities: Set Fires, Onslaught attacks, Confuse units, and Bribe enemy generals to switch sides

I don't usually play these genres of games but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed playing it. After playing the Demo, I've decided to get the full game. Getting my first win (even though it was in the tutorial) felt pretty good. You can really see the amount of time and effort the developer put into the game and I look forward to seeing what is next for Ashen Destiny!1 found this helpful
Ashen destiny! What a fantastic game of territorial management. A game that brings back the Nostalgia of the games of past like Gemfire for the NES! the fact this game brings these old mechanics back with a new and invigorating refreshment with its own ways to conquer and manage your territories might yet be THE starting of the genres revival! whilst in Beta and EA, it is a very refreshing pace to today's current need want of new blended with the old! With the laid back pace and challenges it takes to maintain and upkeep your lands from collapse, come and see if you have what it takes to keep your lands from falling into the hands of the other factions who seek to control the lands of fear and anguish? Will you be able to keep the lands in prosperity and riches, or will you too become an evil and conquering lord who seeks to conquer the lands through violence and blood neglecting your peoples needs and wishes for prosperity?1 found this helpful
