I have this on GOG where I'd rather play it, that version just seems to be better. In any case despite the age I'd really recommend this RPG to anyone that likes the idea of being a mage. It's got good voice acting, pretty fun combat, and a story that's a bit of a mess but overall a good time.1 found this helpful
Cant look up for some weird reason

It's so fun to cast high variety of spells. Delicious combat, a cliche but easy story to follow. I played this game about 2 years ago and now i wanna play it again it was good tbh.
I’ve put in 70+ hours and 10+ walk though the game; some parts are genuinely great. It’s a bold experiment—trying to weave fighting-game mechanics into spellcasting. but with more than a decade of hindsight, It's overall pacing feels sluggish. Whether you go Blood or Soul Magic, you don’t get your first actually useful spell until around level 13–14. You would finish the game at roughly level 30–35, which means the first 40 % of the campaign is spent kiting enemies with two or three basic spells. It’s a slog. If you want a unique, delightfully off-beat magic casting experience, I’d steer you toward the Magicka instead.
The game was a pretty fun dungeon crawler. I like the unique spell casting mechanic in the game as it's a little different flavor vs just the standard hotkeys method in most games.
