Away From Life

I want to start by saying that i am someone who needs a target, a finish line, a reason to play. I have only 10 hours into this game, and i probably will play more but right now i have completed all the tasks and i'm comfortably surviving without needing to do too much. Unless there are more quests added in the future, or a 'way home' is added, i probably won't play that much more. However. The game is put together very well, i have not found any game breaking bugs, everything works pretty well and although combat could be better, the fact is that you're just some numpty who found themselves alone on a desert island in the middle of nowhere. Building is a little bit lacking in that there are some angled pieces you'd like to have but aren't available, but otherwise, pretty good. I feel like maybe the loot could be better in some cases but again, desert islands. I enjoyed what i have played. it's a pretty landscape to traverse, the weather makes things interesting although it doesn't really affect you that much. The self monitoring is easy to follow, though not really explained enough. I'd recommend this to you if you like to just chill and survive, or if you're a base builder. P…

Great game!!! 100% would recommend if you're a fan of Stranded Deep

For being in early access, it's really nice! I love the exploration and how beautiful everything is. I am excited to explore more and learn about all the ruins I have seen from afar. I will be spending a lot of time on these shores. The only bug I have really encountered so far is when driving the driveable raft. Your field of view starts locking up and as you turn the raft, your can't turn your head as much. You can stop driving and it when you drive again, it will reset but as soon as you turn it will repeat error and you'll have to correct again. Other than typical early access stuff, i LOVE this game!

So far 6 hours straight, really nice game play, mechanics and overall graphics. I chose the second difficulty setting and have been able to relax while playing, made it to another island and was met with mild force being level 7 before traveling made things a little easier as i had already prepped for mild battle. Only real issue i have is there hasn't been any help as far as what items can do and how they can interact with each other to make newer items. I know there are brief descriptions attached to every item as to what they are used for, such as the crafting description. Maybe i have an option turned off somewhere I'm not aware of or maybe it's the difficulty setting i chose. For me the game is a solid 9/10 rating all the way, reason being its not 100% complete and I'm fine with that. If it had an in-game assistant of some kind as far as what items are, do, can do, mix with, etc...., it would be a solid 10/10.
