About Awesome Metal Detecting
✦ AI summary
Swing your metal detector across diverse locations to hunt for treasures and collectibles in this multiplayer treasure hunting game. Search through thousands of coins and artifacts with up to 64 players, but prepare to sift through plenty of junk to strike it rich.
Metal Detecting is our number one hobby, and is the one we enjoy the most.
Metal detecting is a truly fascinating hobby, which is enjoyed by people of all ages.
Great finds make this hobby interesting! You will find treasures if you're really looking. But don't expect to find good stuff only, you will find lots of trash!
There's just no way to get around it.
However, a lot of what you find depends on where you go and how much you know about your detector.

The central premise is straightforward: players explore open outdoor maps equipped with a metal detector, scanning the ground for signals that indicate buried objects. I love the idea of having the treasures you find transferred into your Steam inventory. Unfortunately, the controls are way too clunky. Not good for your blood pressure and mental health.1 found this helpful

It is as frustrating as doing the real thing, the game needed a pin pointer and a pointer to know where exactly you are digging but I did find a spanner on a beach which was nice.
