i would suggest playing this, one, it takes about an hour and a half to about two and half hours to beat. its a fun zelda like, based off the first zelda. two it takes arabian knights themes and makes it into a fun game. try it out.
This is a very simple Zelda 1 like but I feel like it does the puzzle solving and the vibes perfectly. By simple I don't mean easy, I just mean it has very few original ideas from what I've seen. Really excited for the full 3D game
A great little NES Zelda-like! It is only about 3 hours long, comprising exclusively of a few dungeons (which is my favorite part of the genre). The dungeons have a number of puzzles that take a keen eye and exploration - and some out-of-the box thinking. The combat and controls feel fantastic as well, and the minimalist music and art style do a perfect job of creating a fun retro ambiance. There are a couple tweaks I would have liked - more robust settings, save system, etc. And I also had one bug where the game crashed at the final boss, and there was no way to resume without starting over on the third dungeon... but otherwise, a pretty flawless experience. Can't wait for the dev's next game!
Short adventure. For 2 bucks American, it is a decent bit of puzzle adventuring. Collect the set amount of Gems hidden in each Dungeon then break some mysterious chain. I don't think the game very effectively tells you what is going on and I kind of glazed over the exposition. The mechanics are The Legend of Zelda but with some ideas in departure to the classic game that are more interesting, if not better in some ways. One change is being able to spear your way through cracking walls instead of needing bombs. Like The Legend of Zelda, walls don't have much detail to say they are bombable but because you can spear your way through walls you won't be burdened with a grind bombs for just testing walls. To say the least, this game is fun. I enjoyed my way through it. If you get stuck on a Puzzle, read the dialogue given to you and even if it sounds cryptic just think about where you have been, room layouts and stuff. You can solve everything by just giving it time to live in your brain. Fully Recommend.
Short, sweet, pretty darn neat. I love the dungeon item for the second level. Admitedly I had to look up what to do several times, but usually the result was me going "oh, yeah that makes sense. I feel dumb." but there was a puzzle in the 3rd dungeon where you have to choose the right gem and I just ended up getting lucky by brute forcing it, but the location was random every time so I did die just on that lmao.
