Backrooms Cats and Lava

My boyfriend got me this game while it was on sale for like a dollar. Only realized after that the original price is 30 bucks lol. The game is definitely not worth that much. It's really short (about one-two hours long) and seems like it's someone's first game as it lacks a couple things and either the dev is trolling or trying to scam people. I like the simplicity and the concept of the game, although it has nothing to do with the backrooms. Sometimes when you spawn into the next level it will just automatically drop you on the saw/spikes and you insta die, which can be a little frustrating. It feels like the dev wants to make money by throwing "backrooms" into the title and it really feels like a scam. If you wanna give it a try get it on sale tho.

Achievements bugged cant get 100%

Very okay-ish game if you get it discounted (I got it with a 95% discount). Some glaring issues, achievement seems to be bugged, I'm permanently stuck at 6/7 unlocked, and I am not the only one facing this issue. Reading the threads, people have brought this up to the developer many years back, and the issue is still unsolved. The game from a gameplay standpoint has some very "cheap" ways of inducing difficulty and playtime, like having a lack of checkpoints in each level (each level has multiple zones), so the player respawns to the start of the level upon death instead of the start of each zone. Also, the difficulty balancing for the levels can suddenly spike in one level, and then suddenly drop the next level. The gimmick of the game can be easily exploited as well, and I am not sure if it was intended to be played as such, but it sure did make it easier to complete this game (especially with the lack of checkpoints and respawning at the start when dying). Overall not a terrible time spender, but only if its on discount, and also not as worth it to even play unless the developer fixes the achievement issue.
