Cats Love Boxes

One of my favorite SOKOBAN games. Not too easy, not too hard. Hoping for many sequels!

Recommended! :) Play time at review represents how long it took for me to complete the main campaign and get 100% achievements. I also tried the Cats Love Lasers side quests and gave up partway through. I was working my way through the Devcats catalog. This game showcases super cute cats. I am not particularly good at puzzles, but I was able to steadily make my way through the campaign across multiple short gaming sessions. I only played solo, so I can't speak to the co-op mode, though that is a fun feature. If you want more of a challenge afterwards, the Cats Love Lasers levels might work for you more than they did for me!

The puzzles are sufficiently challenging without being too difficult in the first area, "The Park". It gets a bit more difficult in "The Lake" so I went to their side game 'Cats love Lasers" and I'm stuck on the second one. Perhaps it's too early for me today. You can play solo or with a friend, as I have done a few times with my son. I love all the Devcats games, including this one. They're fun to play, the cats are great and the fact that they donate to cat shelters is icing on the cake.

Some very solid puzzles in here. Steps away from the Devcats formula we may know and love, but it certainly isn't a bad thing. It's really had me thinking, and it's satisfying when it all comes together. I can imagine the Co-op experience is really fun too. They also added some laser puzzles afterwards. Some of these are VERY difficult, but also feel rewarding at the end. It's a great price, and worth every penny. A highly underrated short puzzle game that definitely deserves more love, and not just because it has cats in it (Though they're a great selling point, of course)

Cute cozy design and puzzles that really rack your brain, there's cats involved too, which is the best part!
