Bartlow's Dread Machine

A strange experience in many ways. It is good but a bit too incoherent for my taste. The shooting itself is a bit annoying since if you don't directly aim at an enemy the shot really can go anywhere. I wish you could go top down at will, that would have made some encounters much nicer to play.

Some good fun

This is by all means a great on-rails shooter where you play with your character stuck on a real rails. You get attacked from every angle and you blast them to bits. Gameplay is pretty awesome. Graphics are decent and the sound is good. If i would rate this, then i would give this a 7.5 out of 10 points. RECOMMENDED!!!

Pewpew old timey good fun

The art and the music are good, but its a bad game. The camera hide enemies and make hard to the player to know where exactly the shots will pass above barriers and where it wont. The game constantly will put more enemies than space to move to avoid the damage. It makes enemies lock you and you cant move. Hitboxes are messy as well. This game has the most horrible menus i ever seen. It makes a work so bad with the enter/space thing that even when i finished the game, i werent familiar with it. Other decisions like doesnt have a quick menu to select phases, the unskippable 'cutscenes', etc make me think the developers didnt test this game. You can still have some fun, but there is a lot of better games out there.

For what it is, its decent.
