[h1] Game from DOS era but this time remastered, it's not running on DOSbox! Gameplay sucks a bit nowaday. It have some exploration and shooting in direction the character is facing only so goodbye to second analog stick for aiming. Choose from 6 characters and choose 2, one can be played by CPU. I love the Chaos Engine. Intense action, a thumping 90s soundtrack, a unique design aesthetic and voice clips that will go with me to my grave. The only thing wrong with it is that I find the difficulty curve outpaces player progression by world 3, and it becomes crushingly hard well before the end. I'd love to see a remake someday, with twin stick aiming and a save function rather than level codes. Like a lot of older games, Chaos Engine is often cheaper than a petrol station Mars bar. Buy it, or don't.1 found this helpful
Great manic 90's fun.
Challenging and fun, just like the good ol' days 😆 Take it slow and enjoy every level. It'll def take you a few tries to get through. Worth the price.
I played this game all the way through on my Amiga 1200. Looking forward to seeing if the pc version/steam is different
Its always been one of my fav games on the amiga the only thing missing is the final boss music but apart from that its just as fun as the original game
