In this game mode, your objective is to save your base by using your upgradable - defensive or offensive - power-ups or your sense of rhythm. You have to be careful though - overusing your offensive power-ups might take you out of rhythm! Choose your strategy and favourite loadout and beat your NMYs!

Soundwave modeIn this game mode, your objective is to save your base by using your upgradable - defensive or offensive - power-ups or your sense of rhythm. 9 power-ups
- Passive Power-Ups
- Your Base: helps you to survive longer
- Regeneration: helps you to heal-up more quickly
- Power Shield: helps you to get some time
- Active Power-Ups (choose your own strategy for each run)
- Electric Trap: deals area damage within the affected radius - strategy is key as you have to time it perfectly
- Turret Reload: gives ammo for the 2 turrets located on each level
- Sub Wave: acts like a multi-layered wall and detonates NMYs (available in the full game)
- Shock Chain: activates an electromagnetic pulse to destroy NMYs on a given lane (available in the full game)
- Bombing Run: triggers a carpet bomb with moderate area damage (available in the full game)
- Sonic Boom: deals a huge area damage within the affected radius, and automatically activates your passive abilities - even cooler if you use it in-sync with the music!

Absolutely nasty game! It feels like you're fighting the music, at first. But once you hit the groove and just start vibing, it turns into a meditative exercise that fully engages my audiophile brain. This game has already cemented itself as one of my go to's. So far I am having a blast! Usually I am trash at rhythm games-but am loving the Tower Defense spin on this one. Most of the music is catchy and fits the level design. Definitely recommend!2 found this helpful
