It is a nice game but it is short. You have not much locations in fact. Some ideas like puzzle to win money that give you possibilities to buy stuff you need are good. But it seems that the game was not worked in depth like it was done with rush. it is at half at least of what i was expecting. In full price it is too expensive. the story is good but again too short and it is confusing because part are missing or not elaborated (don't know...). to bad to have to give a negative review here. In discount it can be tested the graphics are nicely worked.2 found this helpful
A nice little hidden object (HO) game. Can be completed in under 3 hours. I enjoyed playing it and he cons below are really very minor nitpicks. It is weird that some people complain about having to redo HO scenes. It is true that certain HO scenes have to be replayed several times, but this happens in all HO games, the repeated scenes in this game play fast (items to be found are randomely selected from a pretty small pool), and if you absolutely hate one of the HO scenes which give money, just ignore it and replay some other HO scene to get the money you need. Pros: + The tasks make a LOT more sense than in most hidden object and adventure games + Decent story + Most of the artwork is quite good Cons: - some of the artwork is bad (rotten fruits, some perspective issues) - some very minor bugs: - if the fullscreen mode is shifted slightly down, return to the main menu and hit play again - the hit boxes are often too big. You'll hit the hint button a lot while playing, because it overlaps the return button2 found this helpful
Not sure why all the negative reviews. It's not a great game, but it's also not a bad game. Didn't encounter any bugs and completed the game fine. Some challenges were heavily "gated", but I'm seeing a lot of HOG's doing that anymore unfortunately, and as such, can't tank it for that. Easy enough to get the game on the cheap, which is what I'd recommend, but still an entertaining game.1 found this helpful
I enjoyed playing this game. If I could have one wish, it would be for the devs to add a map. I get turned around easily :D It has a journal that keeps a good list of tasks and notes. You have an inventory and a store where you can buy more items with gold. You collect gold by playing HOPS. The HOPS repeat so you remember where items are located. You have a hint button. Sometimes I didn't know where to go next and just started revisiting places & doing HOPS until I got a new clue or found a new location. The story was fun and interesting with a good ending.1 found this helpful
This game is obviously a mobile port designed to get people to spend money buying hints. (This version the hints are unlimited.) I think this is the only HOG I'm not going to complete. I'm going to let it idle to get the trading cards. Cardinal sin 1: YOU REPLAY THE SAME HO SCENES FINDING THE SAME ITEMS. (Not even the same scenes finding items that were ignored last time!) Cardinal sin 2: CHARACTER HAS NO DIALOGUE OR INNER MONOLOGUE TO GUIDE YOUR NEXT MOVE UNLESS YOU Cardinal sin 3: No map! This wouldn't been fine if navigation in between areas was clear, but it's not. The reviews are accurate. If you pay for this game, do it out of pity for the useless developers.
