About Battle Bits

Welcome to Battle Bits, the exciting 2D game where you take the role of a brave Arroba (@) to defend the system from a fierce computer virus attack! In this dynamic and challenging game, your mission is to prevent the virus from taking over the system by eliminating all the enemies and bosses you find in your path.

Game mechanics:
- Varied enemies: Face hordes of enemies represented by letters from A to Z, each with their own attack and defense pattern.
- Formidable bosses: Numbers 0 to 9 act as powerful bosses that will test your skills to the fullest.
- Unique weapons: Use signs as weapons: !, ?, -, +, :, =, %, #, *. Each weapon has its own way of firing, from dots to dashes, offering a variety of strategies to combat your enemies.
- Intense survival: Hold out as long as possible in the system and destroy the final boss, number 9, to achieve definitive victory.

Main features:
- Addictive and challenging gameplay: A frenetic, action-packed gameplay that will keep your reflexes sharp.
- Progression and upgrades: Use the Bits you earn in each match to buy upgrades and new weapons in the store, strengthening your Arroba for more intense confrontations.
- Retro 2D style: Enjoy a charming visual design with 2D graphics that evoke the nostalgia of arcade classics.
- Strategy and skill: Plan your strategy and use each weapon to your advantage to defeat the most difficult enemies and bosses.

Do you have what it takes to save the system and defeat the virus? Join the battle and show off your skills in Battle Bits!

It is certainly difficult to start off with, but once a few updates are collected (and a weapon or two), it does get a lot easier and way more enjoyable for me.

Takes way to long to get started, that wouldn't be such a problem, if the loading times wouldn't be so long. Just takes the fun out of it..

The concept of the game is interesting and so is the ambience. The music is good and has changed a lot since the demo. The Gameplay is a bit slow at the beginning and the upgrade system needs some revision as it becomes difficult to level up and defeat the bigger enemies. I find the light Gameplay interesting although locking the screen to defeat the bosses is a bit strange to play. Good that it doesn't contain any bugs and works quite well. I trust in the developer's hand that we will have future updates.
