Battle of Tanks

Battle of Tanks is a 3rd person low poly/low-fi top down tower defense/wave survival shooter hybrid where you take control of various forward facing turrets and shoot tanks that roll on by. If you don't shoot all the tanks they get behind you and you use the level, that's all there is to this. The temptation is there to call this an asset flip based on just how rudimentary this is, as well as the $5 cash grab price and the way it was dumped into DailyIndieGame bundles at launch... all of which are cash grab moves intended to grab as much money as possible from a product of the lowest quality. But the thing is, this can't be an asset flip, because the quality of Unity store assets is vastly superior to this lazy high school programming class dropout effort. It's really that bad it could be mistaken for a joke... if not for the hand out asking for money for this. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. I didn't know that the price was 4.99 & any semblance of a soul that I had left. The breakdown: The game is somehow a worse version of the BeachHead series, packing the stale turret controls into a stock asset level and with none of the salvageable interest. It attempts to create an action fueled game that requires switching attention to various targets at different points, instead it creates an aura of boredom that makes the prospect of drawing the events by hand a significantly more enjoyable procedure. Your turrets are incapable of turning 360 and do not automatically engage enemies on sight. While it's fun for the first 5 minutes, it gets excruciatingly monotonous even with the prospect of an aerial bombardment at 100 points. Most of your time will be spent in third person, looking at which turret to jump to instead of shooting targets for half a second then switching back.

Just DON'T unless its free

Jump from battle station to battle station around the map in attempt to kill all of your enemies and stop them from reaching the other side of the map. A great time killer game all ages can enjoy.
