War Tanks

War Tanks is a 3rd person vehicle arena shooter where you drive a low poly tank around a low poly, untextured arena and shoot various AI things. The temptation is there to call this an asset flip based on just how rudimentary this is, as well as the $5 cash grab price and the way it was dumped into DailyIndieGame bundles at launch... all of which are cash grab moves intended to grab as much money as possible from a product of the lowest quality. But the thing is, this can't be an asset flip, because the quality of Unity store assets is vastly superior to this lazy high school programming class dropout effort. It's really that bad it could be mistaken for a joke... if not for the hand out asking for money for this. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. when i got to level 8 the game went to 100% cpu usage and started minning bitcoin, it's a great game with top tier physics simulation when you destroy brick walls, great game

The tank is woefully slow and the aiming is so problematic. The game is just boring and is very simple in its graphics. Costs far too much for what little it offers. Good idea gone totally pear shaped. Controls are straight forward and so is the game. Looks better than what it is. Even a basic aiming sight would have made a bit of difference. Unfortunately a big fail. Thirty minutes of my life I will never get back again. Back to the drawing board if there is one.
