So this game is obviously a game made with love. So I can not knock it because I can not code or create a game. That said this game has its flaws but I believe in time it can be something that we can all enjoy and appreciate. I am going to play a few more times to make sure I get all the achievements but I hope to see a sequel that shows how much the developer has learned through this game.2 found this helpful
A Love Letter to a Bygone Era
Disclaimer: I received this copy free from the developer. Battle Record: Graizor is a good game. While playing, I found myself drawing comparisons to the obvious like Metroid or Megaman of long ago. Then as the story progressed I began to remember fondly of my time playing Xenogears on Playstation. The story pulls you in almost immediately. The controls take a moment to get used to, but after you will find yourself slamming down on enemies with your sword but also not-so-smoothly dodging missiles at times no matter how much you feel as though you have the game figured out. Surprises come at every level. The soundtrack is on point. Catchy and rhythmic but also somber at times when the drama comes to a boil. The story pulls you well enough, especially as you encounter the boss of each level. The game truly shines with pacing and encapsulating that feeling, that nudge that motions you to keep playing for five more minutes. Just keep trying, your thoughts will say, because I want to see what's going to come after. Though I received this copy for free I'll be purchasing this game for my son as well. As I truly feel as though he would enjoy it…1 found this helpful
Incredibly difficult even on easy.1 found this helpful
short entertaining game
Well designed! Very fun game and two difficulty levels. Normal is very challenging while Easy allows you to get through the game in one play through as long as you defeat your enemies. Definitely worth the price!
