About Battleship Bishojo
... in pursuit of legendary beasts who dwell beyond the waves...
... in Battleship Bishojo!
Captain Katsu leads the crew of the battleship Bishojo, a bounty-hunting ship in search of mythical creatures who inhabit the world's seas. Guided by a mysterious compass artifact known as the Mahoko, Katsu aims to turn a profit by capturing these legendary animals and selling them on for a staggering sum!
But when the Bishojo rescues your character - Daiki, a sailor in the US Navy - the crew's fates begin to change...
You'll join Katsu and her crew on a grand adventure over the seas, as the Bishojo steams towards legendary bounties who seem to take the form of beautiful girls! Along the way, you'll make plenty of choices both major and minor, leading to unlockable scenes, romance routes and even new locations to discover!
But it won't all be plain sailing - the pirate captain Zoe and her bumbling first mate have caught wind of the prizes that await, and those mythical beast-girls won't come quietly either!
Does the battleship Bishojo really exist in our world?
Can Daiki make it back home safely?
And what dangers, prizes and surprises will you discover over the ocean?

What Steam players say

Players are disappointed with this visual novel, citing shallow writing, an unengaging protagonist, and a bland story that fails to deliver emotional impact. The high price point is criticized given the limited choices that have minimal effect on outcomes, and players express frustration over misleading nudity categorization with no actual adult content present. While a few defenders appreciate the character art, the consensus is that the game lacks the quality and content to justify its cost, compounded by concerns about the developer's poor track record of delivering on promises to supporter
Pros:

Character art, though it's not spectacular.
Cons:

Price is high for what you get
Categorized as "nudity" but you see no nipples or genitals, and
there is no sex either

Choices almost meaningless (a handful of CG differences - aside from the last ones)
Story is unimaginative. Main character is lame. Other characters are boring. Ending disappointing ("meh", rather than "how sad")
I would recommend if it was cheap, or had better writing and choices or something, but just can't in its current state.11 found this helpful
Almost forgot about this. I'll start this off with Silver Cow is a bad "company". They've been basically inactive for a year and a half on their Patreon hoping they could continue to milk to pledges while releasing a trickle of "we're totally doing something" updates. Half of the updates never came to fruition and are just dropped projects culminating into nothing. Getting paid to show no results is pretty sweet. HOWEVER! Taking ~800 dollars a month to produce nothing wasn't good enough for Silver Cow. They decided to create a Kickstarter to remake their first game but with the fetish content removed. The most interesting part (to me) is the stretch goals were all things they were stringing Patrons along with. They said there would be VA work and it would be on the Switch and yet somehow they became Kickstarter Stretch Goals. After a year and a half of inactivity it would also take them ~8 more months to create Time Tenshi Redux But Lamer. This didn't go over that well and they lost ~300 dollars on their Patreon. So how did the Kickstarter do? It failed after getting a "mysterious" last minute donation of ~1500 dollars (their own, I assume) putting them above the all-or-nothing f…9 found this helpful
My friends and I take turns buying these games for each other, I had to painfully narrate this game to all my friends, we sat through a good 1/5 of the game reading it all out until we got fed up and went searching fr the nudity. THERE WAS NONE. NOTHING MATTERS I SPENT 25 MINUTES SPAMMING THE MOUSE IN HOPES OF BOOBS.4 found this helpful
I don't see why people don't like this game. I really enjoyed it.3 found this helpful
I want to love this game but Silver Cow Studios lets be honest growth effects especially in the height growth factor would definitely play some aspect with the crew at some point. And since the girls were already fully stacked it made it harder for surprises in this game and monsters didn't feel that special because of that. While the choices were a bit better than the first Time Tenshi. There definitely needs to a better story, a lot more branching choices and the ending just felt so bland compare to how it started. You guys had something with those growth effect elements or plot devices. Please i strongly suggest you reconsider keeping them in your visual novels its something Visual novels have never had before you guys don't forget your fan base please! Here is the pros and cons i summed up. Pros: Mutiple choices, linear route, and an interesting to okay story Cons: Story gets boring or lacks something, No growth effects like Height or bust, No branching routes, No change in story route, Can't capture any mystical beast which is sad or just pure depression, No DLC and a interesting but overall bland ending. That my personal opinion on the pros and cons. But my full summary abo…2 found this helpful
Writing and art show a lack of experience. I don't know what I was expecting. I must have been drunk when I bought this.2 found this helpful
