Brilliant tower defence game and honestly a steal for the price. Pros: -adorable pixel art -fun strategic puzzles -very catchy and well made OST -well utilized tower loadout, very few redundancies -cool boss fights with interesting twist mechanics that make you think on your feet -branching upgrades and buffs -meta progression -goldfish cons: -low stakes losses, restarting the wave is always an option, so losing isn't really punished. -ability value seems to vary wildly -boss fights can be a bit hectic and are somewhat of a tonal shift compared to the gameplay loop of rest of the game in my opinion. Still really like them, but I can see why some wouldn't -why the is that robo tower so OP lmao4 found this helpful
Yeah im thinkin this game is fire. almost like pokemon mixed with pvz/bloons. visual and world aesthetic goes bazonkers for me personally like im rockin wit the gecko bruh. also this game is cheaper than a double double animal style with animal fries and a medium neopolitan shake and for that ? backflip
Overall, this game was a good entertainment, although the late game was that awful that I simply stopped playing. The game provides a lot of interesting choices and twists to a genre that struggle to evolve, like choosing your turrets and beats/guardian/spells loadouts, or enemies that can break the maze, entire boss fights with short cd on all spells. Each region offers a unique set of monsters and each map a unique roster based on the region set, with their own weaknesses and resistances, meaning you have to adapt your loadout to match those. In other words, you can't just play "the best combo" each and every time, which is cool I think. It's also kind of pretty for a pixel art game. Also I love the plate trap :D Now, every mission has 3 missions that are mandatory in order to unlock stuff, interesting, but some of them are very lame like breaking a damage sponge, sorry, a chest. Another one asks you to break that damn chest before turn x. Furthermore, late game missions are too exhausting and some are unbalanced like the one with moving walls, cool idea but poorly executed. Personal note: 6/10.
Love the game but its exremely frustrating using powers with the skill check, i think their too fast you can debate that but it should 100% pause the game when using them. Half the time i just tap them or have to re-do an entire wave to time them right.
This is a really fun tower defense with a really cool aesthetic. Would highly recommend for anyone that likes the genre.
pretty good
