Bug Heroes: Tower Defense

Foursaken Media is the reason I have any hope for the future of video games. Looks like a kids game, but has a satisfyingly difficult TD grind + roguelite elements. I'm 6 hours into the game, only have the starting 3 characters, and I'm not even mad. It is a crime of humanity that this game is slept on. If you read this, buy it Edit: I keep coming back to this game, very grindy but very fun TD game to sit back and relax once you have the right upgrades unlocked.

It's a fun and creative base defense/shooter game. I like it.

Great game overall, I've played through every single bug heroes game by Foursaken Media and they've all been well worth the money. This stands alongside BH2 as the best and maybe even edges the latter. I'd give this game an 8/10 with a few feedbacks: - Most heroes need a major buff. Pillbug is pretty much the only viable hero if you want reliably beat later levels/go deep in endless. Otherwise once you've built up some decent towers heroes feel kinda useless beyond maybe abilities. Even in the early game I've found that except Pillbug it's rarely ever worth upgrading your heroes over towers - I feel like buffing enemy bugs is a better option to scale up difficulty in later endless levels than random slime/web, which adds a lot of lag and honestly is just annoying both visually and in terms of play experience - Add option to reroll quests - Add achievements

Disappointing, the Demo was great, then you realize its just a cheap cell phone app game, that you cant lose! There is no challenge at all in this game, waste of time and money. Not recommend.

Cara, jogo EXCELENTE! Nem imaginei que os devs conseguiriam fazer um joguinho tão bom assim, me surpreendi positivamente em vários aspectos. Pra quem gosta de TD, com certeza recomendo. Um jogo bem diferente dos habituais e com mecânicas bem interessantes. 10/10

I am so happy this game is finally on Steam, so I can play it properly on my deck. Plus, no more ads for rewards. This might be my favorite TD since back in the WC3 mod days. you get a lot of freedom for tower placement and strategy, its not short awkward paths with forced tower placement like a lot of games now. you can choose between powering up towers or your hero and both work if done well. Also the way leveling and upgrading works each play through and round feel different, so its not repetitive. Also not a walk in the park, you actually get to be challenged in this game. I cant wait to see what else is to come.
