Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"bearcycle" is a very mediocre endless runner from the "I Can't Believe It's Not A Mobile App" section of the Steam store. What's the game about, according to the developer? It's an uninspired free-to-play title attempting to fuse motorcycle racing with chaotic platforming elements. Players are forced to navigate levels using basic mechanics like grinding and grappling. The gameplay appears rudimentary, relying on speed and awkward physics rather than sophisticated design, and leans heavily on user-generated content through its level editor. But that's not really accurate and a bit misleading... like I said, this is an endless runner. Temple Runner has more going on than this does, and that's a mobile app that actually made it to the app stores. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in…
Full review My curator page Bearcycle is not a complex game. You are a bear with a dirtbike, and you are out to have a lovely time on said dirtbike. You do flips. You do wheelies. You annoy an increasingly intimidating number of increasingly powerful figures. You grind on rails. Normal bear on a dirtbike things. Bearcycle’s controls are simple and weirdly intuitive. I usually struggle with these types of games - and I did struggle a bit, don’t worry - but Bearcycle’s controls and maps are intuitive enough that, even within that struggle, I found fun. Each course has a variety of different routes, with backtracking not necessarily being a bad thing. There is a timed element to each route, but the maps’ layout are designed with an emphasis on fun rather than that time. There are elements to interact with and different ways to do tricks. Much like the premise of the game itself, the idea of the courses is less about doing them perfectly, and more about the fun you have along the way. You are a bear with a dirtbike. The game really is that simple. This isn’t…
A bear a riding a bike can I say anything less. Simple straight to the point game that is fun and silly There were moments I felt discouraged in some levels but accomplished when I succeeded. simple must play game that is all!
