About Beat Cop
Play a framed detective navigating 1980s Brooklyn as a beat cop, balancing street-level duties with a nonlinear investigation to uncover who set you up while dealing with corrupt bosses, the mob, and your own demons. Immerse yourself in a gritty cop-show experience packed with dark humor, multiple endings, and meaningful consequences where every choice shapes your path to redemption or ruin.

NONLINEAR STORY WITH MULTIPLE ENDINGS
Someone framed you and no one gives a rat’s ass about this but you. Turn every stone in this city and find out who did that. The further you investigate the more missing puzzles you’ll find, but be careful. Some things should never be brought to daylight.

THE ESSENCE OF '80 COP SHOWS
Have you ever dreamed of being one of the heroes of cop movies? Of course you did, like we all. Now you have a chance! Be sexier than Sonny Crocket and tougher than Dirty Harry. And if witty comebacks won’t work, you can always do some old school ass kicking. It’s ’80s after all!

THE HUMOR THAT YOUR MOM WOULDN'T APPROVE
Be sarcastic. Be gloomy. Be whatever you want. There are thousands of things in this world you can laugh at, and even more you shouldn’t, but who cares. It’s a jungle out there baby, and sometimes you just need something to release the stress.

Noo falló todo! que complicada la vida de a pie1 found this helpful
Outstanding game sitting in between a traditional point'n'click adventure and a police simulator, with a phenomenally evocative New-York-in-the-80s atmosphere and a top-class soundtrack. You play a disgraced detective demoted to patrol duties after (unfounded) allegations of being involved in a scandal. The game is organised in daily patrol shifts. Each day advances the story but also requires players to perform daily patrol tasks, including engaging/helping the community, issuing parking tickets, and responding to a variety of calls. You have a radio, a gun, handcuffs and a notebook to support your duties. Every shift is packed with stuff to do, so much so that, like in real-life police patrols, it's impossible to do everything. Players have to choose what to prioritise. Some of these choices will affect the storyline and the ending. The game has a brilliant saving system and allows you to replay every day, which is helpful if you think you made some wrong decisions. I loved the game so much that I got it also for mobile, and I played several hours (mostly on mobile). For me the possibility of replaying the game with entirely different choices/outcomes grants a great longev…
Good game. The pixel art, soundtrack, and writing do a great job of capturing the feel of an '80s cop drama with plenty of humor along the way. Every shift brings interesting choices and memorable characters, making it hard to stop playing.
I could hit the beat all day! Coptastic! - 6/10
