Cute and cheap, worth a try

I wishlisted this in the Steam Next Fest, but I saw it released yesterday to no reviews. For $3, this game is definitely worth the experience! I think it's a bit better to talk about the less good parts of the game first, both to set an expectation and to end this review on a positive note. It was a bit offputting at first, especially because the translations are rough and the rhythm timing is tight. The game is described as a boss rush game, but there's a little too much of the smaller filler enemies before getting to the bosses, and the early bosses are a little too easy to defeat to get the whole experience from them. Because early bosses are defeated so quickly (I defeated the first boss on accident before I felt like I knew how to play!), and because the small enemies leading up to them are so plentiful, restarting a run feels a little tedious as opposed to a more traditional boss rush game. These issues all amount to a certain lack of polish, but an unpolished gem is still a gem. The bosses are cool and have their own little patterns.
