About Became The Hunted

Became The Hunted is a role playing adventure game set in a cracked scrubland that was once a former sea bed.

You are a lone wolf, whose cub has been snatched by poachers. A massive, open world full of adventure and exploration awaits you as you search for clues as to the location of your cub.

When you initially awake and find your cub missing, the race begins. Travel throughout the land; searching amidst the sun bleached rocks, extensive ravines, luscious forests, find hidden caves and explore long forgotten shipwrecks whilst looking for your stolen cub. However, keep a careful eye on your stamina, health and hunger levels because if either one of them drops too low - you will die! As you progress through the game levels you will be able to scavenge for scraps to build a camp to rest; food to eat and water to drink which will increase your levels and enable you to keep going for longer. And remember - avoid the randomly occurring sand storms which can seriously limit your vision.

Do you have what it takes to conquer the sub missions as you head towards the end goal of reuniting with your missing cub? Get, Became the Hunted, now and see if you have what it takes.
Updating review:
After a long time with an empty depot, the game can now be installed and "played". It reverted to Alpha 0.1 and that's probably the first version of the game. The controls feel to strange, you can't kill other animals to feed and I didn't find any key to drink water. The game tells you, a wolf, to eat apples. Aside from that it's hard to find said apples, maybe something to indicate where they are since wolves have a strong sense of smell. In this state the game is too "raw" to give a proper review but I still can't recommend it.

As a wolf i'm very dissapointed in this game, i'm not even sure if u can even call this a game at this stage. From what i've seen the developer hasn't even touched it since its alpha 0.1 release. It has some sort of potential if everywhere u look wasn't broken in some sense. The animations are choppy and dont loop, the entire stats system is broken, and the quests u get at the beginning are still being worked on. If ur wondering why i have 0.1 hours of review, its because it took that long to deliver my verdict for this. You mostly pay the $6 for whats basically a free-roam world u run around in as a wolf, which sounds fun but 2 minutes in u will be bored of it. Wouldn't recommend unless u wanna have a wolf game in ur library to flex. like me. speaking of which wolfquest (anniversary edition) is only $20 off-sale. i'd save the money for that if ur looking for a well made wolf sim rpg, which this game was trying to accomplish.

The sprint drain and animation is broken. you cant eat or even find the apples. once you complete follow the campfires objective you just... stand there and 2 options appear, "friend" and "foe". "friend" sits on top of the objectives bar so you cant see that and "foe" covers just the bottom right hand corner and you can't click them. please, fix your game. like whats happening? it used to be a lake. THAT'S ALL THE LORE PLEASE FIX YOUR GAME

I don't expect an early access game to be finished, I do expect it to have some manner of actual game play. I have found no way to drink water and there are no apples to be found anywhere despite the game telling me I need to find them. This is a pretty walking sim, with one ending- an the ending is you die.
