love this in everyway art: whats not to love music: super well crafted gameplay: so much replay ablity and very well made card balancing with clear cards that work better with the different classes/ppl lore: love it i have only completed one full full run with one charcter but i love the whole thing abt him over coming to get to the moon and then try rewrite his wrongs 10/10 might be my new fav card game

Hearthstone Battlegrounds turned into a roguelike deckbuilder. As a huge fan of Hearthstone’s battlegrounds, I simply could not ignore this game. On top of that, the art style fits perfectly with my taste for a cartoon atmosphere The core of the game is really interesting, especially the mechanic of exhausting your deck in order to gain new, better cards. Because of that, drawing or removing cards is not just a single action, but also a way to get closer to obtaining new cards. I really like this approach, as it allows you to manipulate what you need at a given moment in an interesting way The card and deck management itself is well thought out, and the cards interact with each other in a fun way, creating action chains and synergies. This is further supported by the items you collect along the way. There are a few specific builds you can guide your deck toward, and despite the relatively small number of cards in the game, it still offers a well-designed pool for experimenting with different builds and characters And this is where the downsides begin, because on one hand we have a really fun deckbuilder part, but on the other hand there are repetitive and sometimes overpowered e…

this game is hell of a drug

Personally I loved this game. It was challenging, yes. I recommend viewing your life total as a currency (a tip that applies to most deck-builder games). I thought the overall vibes were fantastic. I loved the little stories when beating the game as each character. I will say that I wish there were some more attention paid to balancing. I do feel like certain builds are not viable. Overall I would recommend the game if you want a challenge. I would really like to see a sequel made with more attention to balancing. Aesthetically perfect, music perfect, no notes in those categories.

If you like that one hearthstone 8v8, this is that but single player and I like the asthetic better too.

It's different, I can't say if its different good or different bad but I still think about the game sometimes after playing it and I'm interested in more runs to try things out so has to be more good than bad. Weird little thing though but on a decent sale? I doubt you'd hate it enough to refund it or anything.
