Beekyr Reloaded is an hardcore bee'em up game (shoot'em up with bees). The game breaks molds, moving away from the typical STG game, avoiding the space theme mixing vertical and horizontal scrolling stages with fun game mechanics. Each stage is very different from the previous: one level we could be fighting poisonous scorpions, another defending the hive collecting pollen, dodging bee-eaters, raiding dark caves protected by the most evil of wasps: Hornets.

I haven't played this game enough to give a very proper review but just mentioning that so far it's a great take on the classic spaceship style shoot em up scrolling game. The art is outstanding. My only gripe may be chalked up to being old or out of practice but sometimes there is a little to much "visual spam"for me. If you like this type of game, the horizontal/vertical shooter I think this is a solid choice. The other game made my this company that uses sprite art, slam and roll, is also worth a look.1 found this helpful
like a child project, not fun at all, not even fun for child
This is my favourite shmup by KaleidoGames. I know that others have said this, but I'm going to say it as well. For whatever reason, bugs and shmups are a perfect combination. It's a combination that works in Mushihimesama, it works in Space Moth Lunar Edition, it works in Hexapoda, and it works here. There are a few glitches in this game but luckily, they are fairly rare. Personally, I would recommend playing the game in windowed mode and at a refresh rate of no more than 119 Hz in order to prevent a potential crash from happening during the end credits (this has only happened to me once though). I would recommend getting this through the KaleidoGames - Remastered Bundle which also includes Vortex Attack EX. I would especially recommend that you get it if it's on sale.
Not a very good shooter.
An absolute masterpiece. BEEKYR is one of the most interesting shmups I've ever played. All around a wonderful game.
