This is one of the greatest Ocean games I've ever played! Enough with the super death leviathans, enough with oceans that barely resemble the ones on earth, and enough of the overcomplication and DEFINITELY enough with trying to make it scary. This game is a fresh breath of saltwater for me. Its not some dauntingly large complex game, and that's why I like it. Build a raft and go find islands, see what mushrooms kill you, taste good or are 'magic.' Find eldritch talking seashells. Stab fish with a sword. Hang out and enjoy a personal tropical paradise. No need to bother with some incredible weighty journey that takes you to see all the things besides the unmatched otherworldliness of normal earth starfish. I see so many games that take place in an alien ocean filled with giant monsters that want to kill you for no reason. None of these said giant monsters fill me with awe the way a NORMAL WHALE does. This game is beautifully simple with nothing more than the implication of deeper things, and while I know the ocean of earth is endlessly complex, a game about it doesn't have to be. And this game nailed the nautical atmosphere I've always hoped for better than even the most renown aqu…1 found this helpful
A recomend for people who likes chill experiences and atmosphere! Beautiful! has a bit of adventure gameplay to. Note, You need a big play area since you have to lie down
A fun and inspired game where I might have the world record in raft rowing speed! A lot of attention to detail, and an overall good quality of audio, voice acting and visuals makes for a great experience overall. Recommended!
A short but beautiful VR experience. The environments and atmosphere are the highlights, relaxing and immersive. Gameplay is simple but has some fun challenges. You can finish it pretty quickly. Still, it’s a nice little journey if you enjoy calm, narrative VR experiences.
From the perspective of a person who doesn't play a lot of VR I really enjoyed this a little bit shorter experiance. You're making some big gestures in this game but I managed even with my smaller room setup, not to spoil to much but the sleeping was the only thing that was a bit difficult for me (room size wise). World felt very interactive and I had to let go of the "What do I do in a game" mentality with "What would I actually do here", "Is that a set piece? ...No, it's a tool". As long as crabs and some heights doesn't scare you and you want a nice weekend experience I recommend this game. And I will definitely check out part 2!
Highy recommended! A small adventure with puzzle elements, aha-moments and meny LOL's. Also poetic and thoughtful. A calming inner voice guides you exacltly when you need it the most - and also when you don't need it at all. Ha ha... Love this game!
