If you can see the difference in quality, then you'd ask yourself why anyone would intentionally decide to spend one minute in this game, when they could be playing Subside instead. It just makes no sense. This game was out-dated and obsolete the day it was released on Steam. Not only are the visuals worse, they are not even in the same league. This game looks like it was made for the Quest 2, not PCVR. If the visuals were the only difference, it may be forgivable. Unfortunately, this game also runs poorly. On my RTX 3080, I was getting anywhere from 35-70 fps. However, not only does it look out-dated and run poorly, but it also has out-dated controls. You're moving around with your joystick. There is no immersive swimming. You only have snap turning! I bought this game on sale 65% off and even then this game isn't worth it. I would refund the game but I feel bad for the developer. I think they honestly did try to make a good diving experience for PCVR, they just lacked the experience an…4 found this helpful
Uncomplicated go-as-you-please diving experience. Gives certainly a feel of depth, the sound is good and for an early access game it's an interesting start. However, don't expect a high resolution polished game. The colors are harsh and the fish and environment has a plastic appearance. And there are clipping problems. It's difficult to recommend, it depends on your own liking. Nevertheless I enjoyed the 25 minutes free diving so far.3 found this helpful
A good start ! Must say i really like the opening area of this game, the lighting, the waves and the sound ll contribute to that certain undefined "something" i feel if a beach scene is done right. The diving/underwater seems pretty good to but that's not why i got the game (despite it being a diving game)..... i just really like beach/water scenes that feel alive, which this does.... A few things though... (which i'm assuming will come in an update) 1: there's no settings/menu, esp movement speed (which is too slow), "seated play", i'm only ever gonna play this seated and so i'm far to low to the ground, also a crouch button is important 2: performance... i'm on a 4080 and it doesn't feel as smooth as it should, also, again in options, graphical settings 3: starting location is a little bare bones, the water looks great, but the foilage is sparse at best 4: clipping.... when you try to go on land other than the start, you go thru it instead of on it, also why can't i walk along the dock to the end, there's an invisible barrier 5: some textures are very bare bones, some reviews mentioned lighting, it's not completely flat and the colours are really nice, it does need improving th…2 found this helpful
The game wouldn't show on my VR headset (Reverb G2), only my monitor, so I asked for a refund. I hope they'll fix it.2 found this helpful
