Beyond Dimensions

From what I've played, I quite enjoy this! The spells you start with are randomized and are improved in random ways as you progress, but once you die - that's it. Ideally you play well with the random spells, earn mini-achievements, and unlock them to use at the character creation, but some of them will take a pretty long while. I'd wager around five hours of gameplay you'll have unlocked all of the spells and classes to ensure a decent start so you can have an honest go at beating all of the worlds. I might just be really bad (can almost guarantee it) but I found the second world particularly difficult lest I had a specific skillset. Regardless, the challenge is satisfying and I look forward to pressing onward in hopes of unlocking more stuff and things. Edit: Recently an update was pushed out that added a difficulty modifer. While the game's on "easy" the leaderboards lock but achievements are still attainable. Quite nice for the first couple runs until you get used to the game! While the game's only $5 USD, I feel there's not much in the way of spells. This game is ok, but there's a few problems. This game is basically an rng roguelike, and the soundtrack is mindnumbing. The same boring soundtrack is the main reason i don't have a lot of hours in this game as it gives me a headache after a while and the gameplay is not that interesting or rewarding. I'm sorry, devs, but it's a miss for me.

I liked it

Lacks of charm and art, but the game is fun nonetheless. I liked the magic upgrade system and the general pace. Maybe there isn't enough to the game to keep you interested for hours. Still recommended, because I spent a good time with the game, and it's the small project of one guy.

Very Interesting Game. The Music is creepy and nice at the same time great choice, the sounds fx are a good touch. I like the create a Charachter at the begining, I made my guy a pimp. The Text are all sort of different fonts, seems kinda all over the place, but thats not really a huge setback, the 8bit charachters are cool, but then when it mixes with sprites like the skeleton it just looked kinda wierd. The controls for movement are kinda clunky. However The idea of movement around in a maze fashion works well here. I like the super powers and how they change when you die that was a huge plus. I also like that the levels seem to be generated randomly? The Intro screen is cool, as is the the similar death screen. I like that "Workshop" is on the menu, even tho greyed out, it shows you guys really want to make this a community game where we can all build levels, so thats a cool plus. Game reminds me of a more modern version of gauntlet. Game is kind of hard.
