this game is not of a remastered it more like a cash grab

This is very interesting. The approach of old Delta Force games: Xtreme, Land Warrior mixed with aesthetics of CoD 4 and Operation Flashpoint. Good Graphics, and it does its job of classic tactical shooters like Delta or first Ghost Recon. What's important of UE games these days - optimization -, and this runs flawless. While Strike Force 2 is a PowerPoint slide-show this runs like Call of duty Moden Warfare 2007. Tell me a game which enemies hear your reload , mag drop on the floor, crouching on the metal roof surface and in close meter grass terrain. Yeah, nobody cares about logic details anymore. Reload noise, okay I, didn't expect that in this indie bugged title. The gameplay is basically sandbox mission, you have differnt amount of objectives some missions around 6 obj. to be made, some less. Accomplish them as you want. No limits. Tbh I am tired of scripted campaigns and this give you freedom like Ghost Recon and Delta Force. And the 'Behind enemy lines' thesis makes sense in that style now. Buying this game was a big misstake. Maybe if it was 25 years ago I would have liked this game. Doesent look remeastered at all.

Beyond Enemy Lines – Remastered Edition ist ein klassischer Taktik-Shooter. Zur Story: Die Welt steht kurz vor einem Atomkrieg, ein sowjetischer Separatistengruppe hat den Steuerchip eines Satelliten gestohlen. Unsere Aufgabe: Den Chip zurückholen – allein, hinter feindlichen Linien, mit modernster Ausrüstung und viel Risiko. Zum Gameplay: Das Spiel erinnert stark an alte Klassiker wie Project I.G.I. Große, offene Karten, vorsichtiges Vorgehen und das Fehlen von Checkpoints zwingen dich, jede Bewegung gut zu durchdenken. Automatische Heilung? Fehlanzeige. Entdeckt zu werden, bedeutet oft den sicheren Tod. Das Spielgefühl ist dabei angenehm altmodisch – wer Geduld hat, kommt auf seine Kosten. Technisch bleibt Beyond Enemy Lines trotz „Remastered“-Version eher retro: kantige Animationen, einfache Grafik und ein funktionaler Sound. Die Steuerung wirkt an einigen Stellen etwas steif, und die KI ist oft unberechenbar – mal zu dumm, mal zu präzise. Was aber wirklich gut gelingt, ist das Gefühl, ganz allein und auf dich gestellt hinter feindlichen Linien zu agieren.
