Beyond Enemy Lines 2 Enhanced Edition

Beyond Enemy Lines 2 Enhanced Edition is pretty decent game. What I like most about the game is shooting and moding different guns. Also the graphics quality impressed me a lot. This game has great shadows and great overall graphics. While I was playing this game I had so much freedom to do what I want to. For me that is one of most important things games need to have. Only thing i would like to see fixed is leaning, because I think that isnt even leaning its just moving camera right/left so little. I would like to see actually leaning right or left and rotating camera by chosen side. Also while i was playing, I was laying at floor and when I wanted to stand up I went through floor, so fix this please. Overall pretty fun game to play when bored and its good.

Picked this up while it was on sale and I like what I am seeing so far. I see folks complaining about the game playing poorly on their device, yet here I am playing this on my Dell laptop (just a 9th gen Core i7 and a Nvidia Geforce 1660 Ti graphics), which is on the low end range these days and again, it is only a laptop, and the game runs just fine here and never below 60 fps. I constantly get over 70 fps at native 1080p. I can't believe my Dell work laptop, which is a few years old, is better than what other people seem to be using to play this game since I don't have any slowdowns or performance issues! Otherwise the game offers upscaling via DLSS or AMD FSR available if you want more performance. I do wish there were save games or checkpoints though. I am happy with my purchase but appreciate this game is not for everyone - I guess this game is primarily for folks who grew up with games like Ghost Recon and are looking for a new challenge.

I wanted to recommend this game after the many thumbs-down I saw it was receiving. I wanted to say that the new "Enhanced Edition" was loaded with missions and polished up nicely. I really wanted to, but couldn't. The biggest problem with the game as I find it is the inability to save during the mission. I saw this in reviews and I thought, "No problem, I'll work around it somehow, maybe I'll find a mod that allows me to save mid-game." Nope, nope nope. There is NO WAY to save mid-mission and as previous players have said, these are LONG missions! I read a thread in the forum in which multiple players begged the developer to add in a mid-way save point or check point system and he scoffed at the idea! I couldn't believe it. He bragged he could finish the mission in 15 minutes! Well yes, of course he will since he is the developer! He knows where the objectives are, he knows where the bad guys are - he's the developer! Players must understand that they could play for upwards of an hour on a single mission (which is terrific!) and die and have to start all over again! I have been playing for a few couple of hours already and am quite happy so far. I picked this up on sale without expecting much given some of the reviews but I am having fun with the game so far. There are some issues, for example I was not aware I needed to press Tab in order to see where I need to go next - I wasted quite a bit of time just trying to figure this out since the game does not tell you that. Game is playable via controller but the game only tells you keyboard buttons in the tutorial - I guess they expect us to play via keyboard, but strangely if you let your controller inactive after a while the game will tell you that it needs a controller even though I have been playing with the keyboard and mouse. Some glitches too, for example in the Warehouse level the ladder in the bunker underground on the left is glitched and does not let me get out of the ladder on top, so I have to instead go to the roof of the building on the right to jump. There are textures that look a bit too grainy as well, and a lot of buildings are duplicates (the inside as well).
