This game is ... soulless. Technically bad, a little bit, it has very limited settings and took me lowering the sound effects volume as a suggestion and ignored it. Also, some simple dialogue errors like have "emphasize" where it was clearly supposed to be "empathize". Missing some basic RPG staples like a quest journal too For my personal tastes, the game had so much working against it. The plot felt poorly thought out, the characters were anime cliches, the dialogue seemed to press against the fourth wall "She just cast an S rank spell!", and there was almost no statistical difference between the party members. Two are literally no different past the portrait and name. And somehow past all that it managed to be really boring. It's not the worst thing I've ever played, but it isn't good. 3/10.

The Bad: 💾 Resolution feels somewhat low out of the box. 🎛️ Display Settings Clunky. To enlarge the display, you need to adjust FX settings using keyboard buttons. A bit inconvenient to manage. Verdict: Beyond Reality delivers what it promises. A genuinely funny experience that's straightforward to learn and perfect for casual gaming sessions. The time-travel environmental theme adds depth without taking away from the fun. Recommendation: Worth grabbing when it's on discount. Solid choice for light entertainment that respects your time and budget. ✅

Really good game, great on the steam deck, not that hard and okay story.

I'll give it a 7.5/10. Pretty decent for what you expect from a rpg maker game. Pretty short, but it has the classic jrpg feel. Characters are quite likable. I personally liked the artstyle, I'm hoping it's not ai made. Difficulty around medium, monsters aren't too tough but aren't pansies either. Only gripe is, there's a bug with screen resoultion and controller support not fully working.
