“Beyond the City VR " is a tower defense game. Come and join the ongoing war, play the role of the commander & soldiers to resist the invaders in an open world. Choose between multiple powerful tower and unique epic skill! With the wide variety of towers we can create our own perfect strategy. Enjoy a visually stunning tower defense game in VR world.
There're two 2 mode for experience----- 1st is macro layout defense tower and 2nd is FPS micro-operation
Play Mode:
1 The commander role | Strategy level
Global macro layout overview of the map and fully take use of the resource in hand. 1st, we play as the role of commander to arrange the tower power on the map. 3 different type of towers are available in demo version, each of them can be upgraded by using money in game, with diversity attack mode.
2 The Soldiers role | Tactics level
FPS micromanagement, once the layout is completed, the player steps into the tower (Archer Tower/ Magic Tower/ Turret) to manipulate the weapon to against the invader. No mercy.
With the progress of the game, the invaders have multiple waves of attack, the swordsman, the priest, WM warriors, and summoned forest demon.
Shooting with bows and arrows, using magic wand cast, or artillery bombing? Up to you!
Come on to scavenge any threats from the enemy.:)

Surprisingly a pretty good VR tower defense game bought in a bundle for far less than the price here. Probably the best tower defense game I have played in VR so far. Not sure on how much I will play it though as not really into TD but if you are and want one in VR this one probably worth it.5 found this helpful
Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience, YMMV. If you are sensitive to loud sounds like me you may not enjoy it very much. When I first started the game I got slapped in the ears with obnoxiously loud, repetitive and annoying music which you can not turn off. You can not adjust volume. It keeps repeating the few bars ad nauseam while you desperately try to fight the stunning and disorienting effect of your ears assaulted by the painfully loud audio just to play the game. When I entered the tutorial I heard a crackling, barely comprehensible 2 kHz quality sample repeating "Please click on the arrow" over and over when I followed the prompts and fumbled through the awkward controls. Thankfully the "please click on the arrow" seems to be the only spoken phrase in the game, I am not sure if I could have taken any more of that. The options menu has one option: Chinese or English. Yes, that's it. Chinese or English. I am quite convinced that if Hell existed this would be one of the games I would have to play for all eternity... Besy Game VER!!!
Grain of salt for this review with only half an hour played, but I'm enjoying it. I don't take control of any arrow or canon towers, as I'm no good at them. I take control of the cold wizard towers. In my first run, I only made it to level 3, so its not too easy for me. If I get stuck after 10 tries, it may be too hard for me. We'll see how that goes. Fun so far, though.
This is a decent VR tower defense game, with a terrible english translation (probably spat out of google translate). If you speak chinese, I imagine the different active abilities and menus will be perfectly clear, otherwise, expect a bit of trial and error until an update makes the text less useless.
