However, there were also lots of issues that were difficult to ignore. In the end, I am deciding to give this game a neutral recommendation. There is a surprising amount of depth & content to this Tower Defense game. Each wave seems to bring a new weapon to use or a new enemy to fight. You can upgrade towers, buy new towers with new abilities, or use new weapons or tools on your avatar to help with the enemy annihilation. This game is also very approachable. Even when you fail in a wave, you still get more money to improve your defenses. So definitely, the story mode is pretty easy as long as you keep at it. You will always have the ability to improve your defenses. And when you quit the game and come back, you'll have all your money back and you can decide what to buy and what to upgrade. Found it during the summer sale, i'm playing with a rift s. A nice tower defense for 6 bucks. I was surpised by the amount of content! There are many towers, weapons and tools. I really like the gun where you have to crank. The performance is good, it seems to be well polished, even if u can see that it is a small indie title. - Exceeds Expectations :)

A Tower Defense of the special kind. I love Tower Defense and have been a big fan of the genre since Warcraft III. A while ago a friend of mine asked if I wanted to try out this Tower Defense VR game he developed. Intrigued because I never played a VR game before I said yes and stayed close to the development ever since. AIRA captured me immediately, the combination of Hero Tower Defense in which you can not only build towers but also control a hero in the midst of the action and VR is incredibly fun. The game starts by slowly teaching you the basics and then picks up speed very fast and gets ever more challenging the further you get. The pacing is very good and pretty much after every cleared round you get a bigger arsenal of weapons, towers and tools. Additionally you can change your tower setup, upgrade them or buy upgrades for weapons. The towers have a wide variety of designs and functions, the tools are incredibly fun (for example an elevator to get an overview or to snipe enemies) and then there are the weapons ... I love the weapons, pretty much every single one especially their designs. There are the basics like pistols or a bow and then there are weapons like flameth…

It's good. The only issue I really have with it is with the movement. It often doesn't go where I want it to go, which makes it really difficult when trying to chase down runners.

Game random crash and freeze very often when between warping between the wave.
