About Tower VR
Tower VR is a virtual reality based tower defense game. It is a strategy game where you open the monster gate and build and upgrade the tower by selecting the appropriate location and type to stop the monsters from running all over the place. But Tower VR is not just a strategy game. The VR game that utilizes the entire space of the game is a game that manipulates selected towers directly to remove nearby monsters, appropriately utilizes missile and other attacking skills, and adjusts the hero character position.
The basic attributes of Tower VR start with the proper selection of the four towers. "Tower VR" is a pointless VR tech demo from a Korean mobile app developer who decided that because TD games aren't very popular, this could be fixed by giving them worse graphics and making them VR exclusive. This lead to a complete failure on Steam Direct... a generic and soulless TD with no advantages from VR exclusivity, and generally bad design with a slew of unfixed bugs and jank. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. This game is fairly dated at 7 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. Физика объектов реализована на хорошем уровне, падения блоков выглядят реалистично, а чувство удовлетворения от успешно установленного элемента просто непередаваемое. Игра имеет несколько режимов, включая бесконечный режим для отработки навыков и режим с заданиями, где необходимо построить башню определенной высоты или с использованием конкретного набора блоков. Это добавляет разнообразия и продлевает время, проведенное в игре. Из минусов можно отметить простую графику. Хотелось бы немного больше визуальной детализации. Basic point and click, no options I could see, got to lvl 3 crashed again ! Controller movement nill could be ok if more effort was used
The game is fun to play, but there may be some bugs. However, restarting the game allows you to continue playing.
needs a lot of work but I love the idea keep working on it
