✦ AI summary

Players praise BiblioMania as a charming, well-made little party game with a fun concept of managing a library and delivering books, though some enjoy it as a casual distraction. However, the game is severely hampered by critical bugs including unresponsive controls during tutorials and broken multiplayer functionality that makes the game largely unplayable as intended, with dead or non-existent online servers making it impossible to enjoy with friends.

BiblioMania takes the familiar image of a peaceful library and transforms it into a lively multiplayer playground where organization can quickly descend into supernatural chaos. Developed and published by Red Scale Studio, the game is a free-to-play 2D platforming experience centered on working as a clerk inside a cursed library. Instead of treating the location as a serious simulation, the game uses ordinary responsibilities such as receiving, sorting, and delivering books as the foundation for an arcade-style challenge. The result is an unusual combination of platforming, light management, cooperation, competition, and unpredictable events designed primarily for short and replayable sessions. The main gameplay loop is intentionally straightforward. Players are expected to perform their duties efficiently by handling books and getting them to the correct clients while navigating the library environment. What prevents these responsibilities from becoming completely routine is the curse affecting the building. Strange events can interfere with otherwise simple assignments, forcing players to respond to changing circumstances rather than following exactly the same procedure during e…

Multiplayer doesn't seem to be implemented at all. I pressed invite and nothing happened. It is impossible to finish the tutorial properly, after a minute or two into the tutorial the character stops responding to keyboard inputs. It could be a nice little game, but I cannot really recommend if you want to play a multiplayer game.
Note: Dead multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no players, no populated servers. This multiplayer-only game cannot be played as intended.
This game, BiblioMania, is a multiplayer 2D platformer. You play as a clerk in a cursed library, interacting with clients and managing books. The subject is a cursed library with various in-game events. Gameplay involves managing a library, renting and receiving books, and facing chaotic events. The game supports up to four players in cooperative or competitive modes, with maps featuring unique challenges. You should avoid this game, as it is a simplistic, repetitive experience that is not likely to offer long-term enjoyment, based on the description of the game and features listed on the Steam page. This is a little differentiated from your average shovelware platformer on Steam... no, not because it's good, it's definitely not that, but because there's a multiplayer element and an element of "work" in that instead of just jumping from a-b, you have to collect books and give them to customers in this cursed platformer about a cursed library. Regardless of the concept be…
