I felt it quite frustrating on the last level, as I did it messy on a XXth attempt and surprisingly succeeded... Music got a bit repetitive there. It seemed to me the diffculty was a bit inconsistent at this point, from then the final boss was pretty easy in comparison. As I read on another comment, camera could be a plus. I played w controller and right joystick could be used as pan to explore until release to get back on the character. The game starts as kind of family friendly then turn to difficult plateform game. Very nice ambiance, and awesome powers given by the books. I definitively enjoyed this 'Die and retry' style game! Keen for some more, will try Challenge mode. Thanks!1 found this helpful
It is clearly a very well put together game. You can tell that everything from the sound effects to the levels themseves were made with passion and deep love for video game creation. As with any game, there are going to be flaws but the clear passion for the developer's work is worth as many commendations as possible!1 found this helpful
This game is pretty freakin' sweet!1 found this helpful
I wanted to love this game, but the stupid controls and finally running into a ridiculous absurdity of a section is just too much
This is not my type of platformer, you have to be super precise with stuff. Despite it not being my wheelhouse the art style and story is brilliant. Loved the music. The "levels" and mechanics are built really well. I just couldn't get into it personally but if you like challenging precision platformers this is gonna be a game for you.
