About Bibou Quest
Bibou's grandfather was kidnapped by the Cocus leader, now Bibou and his cousin Udi need to rescue their grandfather.
In this platform game the player needs to collect all the Yellow Stones from each stage.
Bibou and Udi must dodge the Explosive Blocks that Cocus throw,
in addition, the two protagonists can strike with electrical discharge the enemies.
In 2 player mode, you can play using only one controller, such as a keyboard or gamepad.
That's it, even if you don't have two controllers you can use just one for two players, isn't that cool?
Or if you prefer, use two controllers, the choice is yours.

Bibou Quest is one of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam. This one is particularly badly made with obtusely blocky, ultra low res pixel "art", sloppy controls. Gameplay consists of basic plaforming, coin collecting etc through several unimaginative platformer levels. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical …2 found this helpful

Fun little pixelated platformer. The game is simple, so I will keep my review simple.

One unfortunate incident occurred during my playthrough, specifically in the first episode of Chapter 4. A bug surfaced that prevented me from progressing any further. I attempted to resolve the issue, but ultimately had to restart the chapter. The prospect of redoing everything was a bit discouraging, and I found myself lacking the motivation to continue. This technical glitch interrupted an otherwise smooth gameplay experience. Despite this setback, "Bibou Quest" remains a charming and well-executed game that offers a lighthearted and entertaining experience for fans of platformers. With its endearing avian characters and gameplay reminiscent of classics like Mario, it has the potential to provide hours of enjoyment, as long as the technical issues are properly addressed and resolved.

Simple, basic, platformer game. It can be a bit hard here and there. Feels like something out of a school project, in a good way.
