As nice as the art and atmosphere is, it is kind of a whatever experience. The story is vague and the parts you can piece together are a little interesting but nothing special. The two endings are abrupt with little to no payoff on either the story or horror fronts, doing basically nothing with the tension the game spends its whole time slowly building. It's far from the worst thing I've played, but it does feel still feel like I wasted my time. Slow movement and crashes with no autosave don't help either.

it s a decent little game with nice visuals, music and atmosphere but sadly i cant recommend the game in its current state. It randomly freezes and you have to close the game and then reopen it, which it was really inconvenient and frustrating at times since it just completely unmerges you from the whole experience. (the creator has stated that it has to do with the game engine being outdated) If it wasnt for this issue i would 100% rec this game, especially cause it s free.

The game is visually very pretty, I think the way the plot was developed was nice and I liked the designs. It wasn't really scary and it was pretty short, but it's a nice game and it's worth a shot. The movement felt a bit clunky but it wasn't really an issue.

I don't really have much to add that the other reviews haven't already said. The game has a nice atmosphere that's a mix between childlike whimsy and dread that leads to two endings that don't do much with it. In my opinion, the best part of the game is finding the pages around the house that explain the mythos of the world. You can tell the dev put a lot of thought into each page, and the illustrations added to the tension. I do want to cut this game a lot of slack because it was free and appears to be the dev's first time making a game, but there are so many issues that it's still hard to recommend. The slow movement serves to make the game feel longer than it actually is. It's a very short game that could probably be completed in less than half an hour if you could move above a crawl. It's even more evident when you get to the underneath-the-sink part and you can't use your mouse, so you have to painstakingly use the arrow keys and slowly drag yourself over to click on things. And the cherry on top was the amount of times this game crashed on me. I was stuck in the mother opening cutscene because Wick just disappeared into nothing, and I got to just stare at the room. It to…

Amazing little pagan-inspired RPGMaker horror game.
