I have two hours of playtime and one hour of that is me wandering without knowing what to do or dying and trying again. The first save is 45 minutes into the game so dying before that means a reset. And idk how the dev managed to do this but in the final level, there is a qte which shows left and right arrow keys. Except, you will fail everytime because in order to succeed, you have to press both A+D and left+right arrow keys at the same time. How I know this? I found it through some other steam forums complaining about the same thing. I mean HOW THE ♥♥♥♥ YOU CAN MESS UP A QTE? Did the dev even played his own game? I don't want to sound harsh but this old game was on browsers back in 2014 so you would think they fix the issues with it but no. Just watch a playthrough of this if you are really interested.

3.4 Quite a mixed bag, I'll give this some extra kudos as I believe this was at least one of the first fully realised games/projects by this I think solo dev and they seem to be a youtuber, judging from the credits. This isn't amazing by any means but it has it's charm and is kinda creepy in it's own way. The general atmosphere is pretty well done initially but there are a lot of flaws. There are two modes, I started with the 'timed' mode as that was what it recommended but after a few tries of dying and retrying the same thing I switched to story mode. Only to discover that it was the exact same thing at least to begin with. It was in this mode I realised that all you ever really do is just run away, I got used to how the ghost worked, ran enough and it de-spawned. Once I discovered that and that it was the intended loop for gameplay I feel that it generally did flow a lot better. Completing story mode up to the first save (they are automatic at set points), I went and re-did the timed mode and saw that it was the exact same initial chapter as the story mode with a very slight difference in path at the end of the chapter. Genuinely one of the worst horror games I played. Sure, the graphics are good, but it does NOT make up for how bad the gameplay is... You can't access the settings mid-game, which means you have to close the game and open it again, however... The game doesn't have data saving! So all the time you have to re-open the game or die, it starts all the way from the beginning. And, aside from that, there's barely any hints on what to do to progress, so you have to walk in circles clicking literally anything in hope it progresses the game, and that's even worse when the monster appears, since she takes long to disappear AND kills you even if you don't look at her (which SHOULD be her mechanic), and her jumpscare is loud as hell.

I don't understand all the praise this game gets. It's quite mediocre at best. The horror aspect mostly comes from the chases. You can't hide as the monsters always know your location. Essentially you just have to run around them in circles until they just give up and despawn...uuh ok. Took me a while until I understood that and by that time the "oooo spooky" feeling already left. The first monster actually just despawns if you look at her for too long lol, and appears somewhere else where you're not looking. The problem comes from the final sequence: the quick time event with the ladder. This has got to be one of the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ QTEs I have ever seen. No matter how fast you press you still lose, I had to resort to an autoclicker script to do this garbage (credit goes to astro). I have no idea what the dev was thinking with this - excluding the fact that this kind of QTEs are a lazy way to add tension and have no business being in a horror game whatsoever.
