BLACK WITCHCRAFT

After finishing this game I really wanted to support it by giving it a positive review, because it deserves it. It´s a little 2D arena fighter with really cool combos like in DMC if you are into that, but the combos are not a must to finish the game. It is not a metroidvania in the traditional sense. But the map provides points of interest and side stories that you can explore to get stronger. The map is structured like a maze and has light puzzle elements to it, which is bound to the story. But the map being a maze is not really a problem, because there is a map to help you navigate. It also has really cool upgrade systems. You have 3 skill trees and a stats system to design your own playstyle. I went for a ranged playstyle. The art and music are really good too. You can feel that the dev has put his heart into designing the game world and the weapons, because they do not just look interesting, they are a blast to play with. I completed the game on the hardest difficulty and beat all endings in 18.5 hours.

(take this as an impression review and I will add more when i eventually finish the game) Bought this for my Switch cus of the many numerous youtube channels that how sales. Bought it on steam for the artbook and OST. Great game and aesthetic. Gothic and it takes itself seriously but not overly so. Its got great art direction and plays VERY inspired by Vanillaware games and more closely the PS Vita version of Odin Sphere: leifthrasir when it comes to combos, shortcuts for moves and more from what i have experienced so far. The travel is a bit finicky but i assure if you kep at it the travel makes sense. Combos and difficulty is very approachable and I suggest Hard f you are a 2D action vet. Worth the price for what it is. And i hope these guys make more or a more enhanced version without taking away what i like from it. (lord knows we have many dumbed down games nowadays)

the good graphics are nice fun to use multiple skills both of ground and air attacks to make combos character interactions are fun the bad story is short enemies don't have that much health so even with simple combos you can kill them before they get a hit in no way to quick jump to locations you already explored I think the game uses some kind of random encounter system to see if when you enter a room if you start a fight or not good game that just really need to make it so that enemies have more health so that you don't kill enemies so fast

You can play as the Tony Stark of Witches in a character building detective 2D combo action mystery drama game. Kinda jank, so don't spam button inputs and it shouldn't bug out that much.
