Lore
– First, Niro cried and it created this world. Then he cried again and created the Orins. They defy him once and, with furious anger, he then took their voices away.This was the great sin and now the first seven swords are forever lost in this world. It’s necessary to find them in order to defy him again. Such a task can only be completed by the last seven Orins though, who still search for them.Dynamic Combat
– Using light and heavy attacks with great precision and six different styles, the combat system heavily relies on timing and patience. This intensive skill based system is supported by the procedural generation of swords and by a diverse range of enemies and bosses. Attacks can be combined with roll movements and the use of ancient relics, as well as dynamic body transformations called Kuros, allow even more diverse gameplay.Exploration Elements
– Ancient relics allow the player to uncover secret weapons and life fragments to better support player combat capabilities. Many relics, secrets and locations are totally optional and can only be found by extensive search into the game lore. After a brief introduction, the player is free to approach any of the seven legendary swords through the way that seems to fit best. The entire map is open for him to unravel. The map is created with many hidden shortcuts and secret passages to forbidden lands that can only be used in a right time of the day or with the correct Kuro.What Steam players say

An interesting idea, but implemented very poorly almost to the point that it feels like they arrived at point where the game was 'playable' and said "yeah, this is good and requires no further work let's release it". Truly feels like an Early Access game. Would have been sad if i bought this, since i got it from a humble bundle pack some time ago i don't really care. Spend you money somewhere else, this is not worth it even on sale.9 found this helpful

This game is very memorable, as even years later, when I scroll through my steam library, I STILL remember how utterly garbage this game is.
Crap souls
I don't really know what I was expecting getting this game despite the reviews. It's not great. It's kinda sad though cause it has the potential to be a lot better. [b][u]The Good:[/u][/b] - Graphics are decent - The game is at least voiced - has a lot of potential - the different stances and styles are a cool idea [b][u]The Bad:[/u][/b] - starting out, the game gives you zero sense of direction, sure you have the "press Q" for the butterflies that show you where to go but there are zero paths or trails and you have no clue or indication as to a boss or location's difficulty until you're getting slaughtered and for a game with a perma-death mechanic, that's just really annoying. - All of the locations and bosses you have to kill are really far apart to where this game kind of turns into a walking simulator. - A lot of hits don't register and funny enough, it's only ever your hits, the AI almost never misses. On top of that, dodging side to side is completely useless because they still hit you, you can only effectively dodge backwards and only if you get enough distance. - there's a number of other smaller things that are annoying about playing this game but I'll sum it up in sayi…
