Broken Blades is a platform, 2D action game with beautiful, fairy-tale graphics, in which we struggle with hordes of monsters and powerful bosses. Our hero is armed with a sword that can be improved as the game progresses by gaining randomly generated magic shards. The appearance and power of the upgrade will depend on the types of shards you find on your way. All locations in the game are randomly generated, so each game has a completely different layout of corridors. Discover and explore all nooks and crannies to get upgrades that will help you fight bosses.

Broken Blades is extraordinary, so many unexpected alternatives and creativity. The game is a blast and I'm happy playing it and having it in my library ! Suggestions : - I always had the shield bar empty. I finished the game and no vendor I found, offered shields. - A tad too hard, and I found no save points. - An ingame map would increase the allure so much : I progressed going around and around till finding new areas by luck and perseverance. Thought the game was short and over at times, but instead, it is so big. - Not fun that spiders kill you with one touch at first, better if they did damage as other foes. - Finally killed the knight by attacking his weapons (hammer to morningstar to shield). Trial and error, don't know well how I did it. A damage progress bar would work wonders, I almost gave up at various times. - And arrived to a certain crumbling bony walk. Eventually, the credits. Love this game ! Final thoughts: lower difficulty would allow more gamers to fully appreciate this excellent adventure.2 found this helpful
I found difficulty too harsh you die way too easy not fun when everything in the game is stronger than you. Is there a check point in this game don't know can't seem to progress really mixed on this one.2 found this helpful
