Blaston is one of those VR games that made me realise I do not need complicated controls for a game to feel intense. The whole idea is built around one on one gunfights where I have to keep moving, dodge incoming shots and find an opening to hit back. Everything happens in slow motion, but that does not make it relaxing at all. I am constantly ducking, leaning, reaching and moving around while trying to keep track of what is coming towards me. It feels more like a physical duel than a normal shooter, and that is what makes it stand out for me. The movement is easily my favourite part. I cannot just stand in one place and aim because the whole game is built around avoiding attacks with my actual body. Bullets can come from different directions, so I have to crouch underneath them, move out of the way or lean around attacks while preparing my own shot. I like how natural this feels in VR because I am not controlling a character who is dodging for me. I am the one doing the dodging. Its ok for a free game, with how expensive VR can be I appreciate any developer making a game and giving it out for free. And its a great game for those who are prone to motion sickness or dont have a lot of space to move around in VR since you pretty much sit still in one spot. That being said it didnt really keep my interest very long.

Super disappointing. The concept actually had potential — VR dueling with projectile dodging sounds cool on paper — but the population problem kills it immediately. Multiplayer-only VR games already struggle, and once player counts collapse, the whole experience starts feeling abandoned. I bought it hoping for something more active and competitive. Instead it felt dead. Not recommended.

probably the best idea for a VR game that I've seen. If I didn't have a messed up leg i would play the ever loving **** out of this game, the time I did play this it was incredibly fun. although, I did feel that some of the guns were unbalanced.

This isn’t a game. It’s a VR sport. I dropped about 40 pounds playing this. My stamina and endurance is thru the roof because of Blaston. I even developed a 6 pack because of all the fat I lost playing this masterpiece. Never gets boring with all the different load outs and player styles. I’m 50 yrs old and will absolutely destroy you in this game and will make you look silly. Don’t believe me? Look out for BigNLong or 50yrOldNinja. Don’t cry because an old guy just kicked your ass.
