About Bloodwash
Bloodwash is a giallo-inspired horror game where you navigate a late-night laundromat as a pregnant woman stalked by a serial killer, all rendered in gritty PS1-style graphics from a first-person perspective. It's a narrative-driven experience dripping with gore and 80s horror atmosphere, designed to feel like a lost VHS gem with every corner hiding potential danger.
BLOODWASH is a giallo-inspired laundry horror game with low-poly, PS1-style graphics.
Sara is a pregnant college student living with her alcoholic boyfriend in a run-down apartment complex. To make matters worse, a serial killer targeting pregnant women, the Womb Ripper, is terrorizing the city. One night, the washing machine in the basement breaks down. A helpful neighbor tells Sara about a 24-hour laundromat on the outskirts of town. What she finds there might claim her life!

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Bloodwash is a fun bite-sized horror game with effective jump scares, great soundtrack, and charming real-time mechanics where players complete side quests while waiting for laundry to finish. Players praise its tight narrative and retro PSX-inspired atmosphere, though the main complaint is that it's quite short, with most beating it in around 90 minutes. Players suggest grabbing it on sale for a solid spooky evening experience.
a fun little horror game that’s great for spooky season if you have an hour or two to kill. loved that this played out in real time and having side quests while waiting the 30 minutes for the laundry to wash and dry. was jumpscared a few times and the soundtrack is great. would recommend2 found this helpful

A great bite-sized PSX horror story- easily one of my favorite puppetcombo games that really just focuses on a tight hand tailored exploratory narrative. Who knew waiting for laundry to finish could be such fun.
I like the game, the only issue is its too short.
A great little horror romp, that I wish was a tad bit longer (I beat it in around 90+ minutes and that was while I was roaming around, collecting little trinkets and soaking up the atmosphere of this retro slasher-inspired story and n64/ps1 style graphics). Has some really effective jump scares that feel earned as well. Highly recommend.
It was good and fun, I really don't have much to say. A good expecience for a friday night, get this on sale
