Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares. Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again.

Very good sequel. I think they were successful on creating the premises which led to the events in the RE7 and of course, in the events of the game itself. It's definitely heavier on action but the elements of horror which make up the prequel are well preserved. The concepts for every enemy are well laid and justified as you progress through the story. Overall, exceptional gameplay and story. Well done, CAPCOM!

Very good RE game, has the mixture of a normal FPS style shooter and somewhat survival-horror in certain sections, really does set a good tone for those who enjoy both. Puzzles/finding story items aren't as complex as other RE titles which in my opinion is a let down as it makes it easier but also making the game feel shorter too. Bossfights are really fun and there is quite a few, but the majority of them are easy to beat once you know the weakpoints. The main story/lore is interesting and will leave you with curiosity and hooked until the end. And for some reason, this game has a grudge against Ethan's hands.
This being my first ever RE game that I have played I would say that I will buy more of these games if they are the same quality as this game.

Mercenaries was good. I've finished this game before and I can't wait to finish it again. I'mma 100% this baby!
