Bloody Grids

Steam, when I said I wanted a game about jirai-kei girls, this isn’t what I meant. Another shot in the eternal battle between sokoban and minesweeper. I am not good at either, but for the price, this is a decent-looking twist on the minesweeper formula whose story mode doesn’t outstay its welcome, but there’s plenty of content for people who really like looking at grids of numbers and performing constraint solving algorithms in their head. The story is more vibes than a complete story, but they’re good vibes.

If you like difficult minesweeper and wish you could crank up the difficulty without resorting to random chance, then you'll probably really enjoy this game's extras. If you're new to minesweeper but enjoy puzzles, the main stories provide a pleasantly moderate difficulty to get you up to speed.

I love this game. When I played the demo during Next Fest, I didn't want it to end. Now that's it out, I can't put it down. The game features 3 different twists on the classic Minesweeper game. The first one is very similar to Dragonsweeper, but the other two are something else entirely, with one featuring a computer opponent who competes with you on the same board. I tore through story mode pretty fast, but the "extra" levels are proving much more difficult. More please!

Cool puzzle upgrade on the Minesweeper game

I liked this twist on Minesweeper. It's presented well and gets your brain going. The ambient music fits perfectly. It feels like it took some inspiration from SCP, as you have assorted monsters, some soldiers that would normally be used to subjugate other monsters, some powerhouses that you're meant to avoid, and the scientist gamemode even has you "containing" the monsters by successfully identifying what is under a square. Definitely a worthy buy. From the moment I tried the demo, I knew this was going to be a day1 purchase and I was not let down in the slightest. In fact, the extra stuff in the full game made me enjoy it even more.
