Felky Fun Meter

||----------| [0/10] Not fun!
I have nothing against walking simulators (which should be this game's main tag) but this is THE slowest paced one I've ever played. At some point there is a random 4 minutes of holding W in a forest (corridor) to collect 6 Teddy Bears.. You are supposed to get immersed but every interactions has a GIANT WHITE ICON that if you go near will make the screen fade to black; lose control of your character so the cutscene does the interaction for you; then screen fades to black again; and you are back in first-person mode. And it can be a long process; at some point I moved back towards a ladder by accident so I had to wait one full minute staring at my monitor in order to go back and continue.. Too many cutscenes; and I'm not exaggerating literally the image that is on the Steam Store with the gun isn't even you shooting you're just looking at the action. Movie-games aren't an issue; but in this case I think you shouldn't put a disclaimer to wear headphones and play in the dark because people are going to expect to be thrown and immersed in the game; not thrown outside of their characters every 20secs. Now …

Not much going on here, finish the game once and level 5 all the doors stay open so replay value is super low. I imaging they'll fix it but the dev seems to be MIA. when releasing a game it's good to check in on the progress. you'd think they'd be excited. Anyhow walks too slow, long drawn out and plentiful cut scenes. only 1 monster to run away from and the last one the game does all the work for you. no puzzles, no fights, no weapons to use. find the key, or the password, move on. basically a good looking walking sim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fLjKf8MTOc&t=59s

I absolutely cannot recommend this game. In my opinion, it barely even qualifies as a game, and here’s why. First of all, the walking distances are extremely long — whether it’s the forest path or, for some reason, the basement areas — and the game doesn’t even let you run. This means you spend a huge amount of time slowly walking from one place to another with nothing interesting happening. On top of that, the game feels more like a cutscene simulator than an actual interactive experience. Climbing ladders, approaching the house, using items — almost everything triggers some kind of animation or cutscene. Often you walk about 5–10 meters and then another animation starts. It constantly interrupts gameplay. The animations themselves are painfully slow. For example, opening a door with a crowbar took almost 20 seconds. Even the UI in the menu somehow feels slow and unresponsive, which makes everything even more frustrating. There’s also a section in the basement where you’re supposed to run away from a monster. The problem is that you basically need to know in advance that the chase is about to start. If you don’t already start moving in the right direction immediately, …

Not terrible, but mostly a boring game.

Basically, it is a short horror game with very simple gameplay. It generates good atmosphere, unreal engine 5 really gives the sharp model textures look nice. However, this game is a "drag and drop" style like most of the cheap horrors. There is not really storyline to follow. The animations and movement are very poor, does not give a responsive feeling. Few jumpscares. I can only recommend this game if it is on sale. There are quite a few better horrors than this for 5 USD.
